I currently have two tanks up and running. My
main display tank is a 90 gallon bottom drilled with a sump/refugium
setup. It has 2 two little fishes phosban reactors with GFO in one
and carbon in the other. I have a proclear aquatics 150 skimmer.
I have a custom made acrylic ATO as well under my stand. I also
have a DIY kalkwasser reactor with an Iwaki 10 pump on it.
The water I make comes from a 10 stage RO/DI system. There are Two RO membranes, two carbon, two filters, and four DI filters. The water has 0 ppm and have had no problems! I use reef crystals salt and try and do a 5 gallon water change every week.
The lighting I have is a current outer orbit fixture with two 150 watt 15k XM bulbs, and two 130 watt power compact bulbs. The XM bulbs are amazing and I think I have found the bulb I'm sticking with. I am also running a 1/15 chiller to keep the temp down. I have a ball valve to slow the flow and have had no problems with it at all. My temp is now at a constant 78 and the tank life loves it.
